Accounts

An account is a connection to one cloud or remote storage. Connect your clouds once, and both Explorer panes and your routines can use them. Your local disk (This PC) isn't an account β€” it's always available and never counts toward any limit.

Adding an account

Click Add account and pick your storage:

  • Browser sign-in (Google Drive, Dropbox, OneDrive): click Connect, approve in the browser that opens, and you're done β€” the connection and your email come back automatically.
  • Credentials (SFTP, SMB, WebDAV, FTP, HTTP, S3): fill in the connection details (host, user, keys, or S3 access keys).

Names are suggested automatically β€” you can change them. Already use rclone? Import from rclone reads your existing config (read-only) and creates an account for each remote you pick, with no re-authorizing.

Where your credentials live

On your computer, encrypted β€” one file per account. Your files and credentials never touch our servers. SyncThemAll only contacts us to check your license.

Managing accounts

  • Rename an account or edit its connection details (the storage type stays fixed once created).
  • Test connection to confirm it works.
  • Re-authorize: if a browser sign-in expires, an "Auth expired" badge appears β€” click it and reconnect.
  • Sort the list, open an account in Explorer with a double-click, or delete it (with confirmation).

Reaching the limit shows a friendly upgrade prompt β€” importing from rclone counts toward it too. See Pricing for what each edition includes.
